Stunning 1934 Elgin "red sweep" 14 karat yellow gold filled man's wristwatch in near original condition. Bought from family of original owner who provided copy of photo of watch on the owner during WWII (comes with the watch). Amazing example with original Elgin signed dial, signed case back, and signed movement. The 14K gold filled case shows light signs of use, fine condition overall, no wear through. Good condition original dial with with yellow gold hands and markers. Minor age spots and stains noted on dial. Inside, the 15 jewel manual wind movement is currently running and keeping time although service history unknown and has no warranty. Fitted with its original pigskin leather strap with Elgin signed gold filled buckle. Case measures 22mm wide, 39mm long with 18mm lugs.
