“Copa de Oro” is an original block print featuring the iconic California poppy (Eschscholzia californica) in bright orange ink. Each print is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing the gold is of true California origin.
Printed on 4 ½ x 6 ¾ inch cream-colored textured deckled-edge paper
Each is a one-of-a-kind, expect variation in ink saturation and gold flake shape
$2.50 from each sale will benefit the California Native Plant Society
Numbered series of 250
Behind the name: “copa de oro” translates to “cup of gold” and was the name early Spanish explorers gave to the California poppy flower because of its bright, golden-orange, cup-shaped petals. We found this name fitting not only because it’s of that same vibrant native flower, but our poppy cups a real gold flake at its center.
