Antique & Vintage Jewelry in Los Angeles: Bracken’s Curated Collection

For over 40 years, our Los Angeles jewelry studio has been known for its distinctive collection of antique and vintage jewelry and watches—from 1920s Art Deco engagement rings to mid-century diamond solitaires, vintage wedding bands, Victorian lockets and vintage Rolex watches. Every item in the collection has been been hand-selected by Todd Bracken for its craftsmanship, character, and wearability. In addition, we’ve spent decades restoring and redesigning heirloom pieces with care and intention.

We also design modern jewelry inspired by antique techniques and aesthetics like gypsy engagement rings set with antique cut diamonds in high karat gold, and signet rings made from real Californian Gold that look like they’ve existed for centuries. So whether you're looking for a one-of-a-kind vintage engagement ring, a handcrafted wedding band with historic roots, or some other meaningful heirloom…our studio offers it all.

What’s the Difference Between Antique and Vintage Jewelry?

  • Antique jewelry is typically 100 years or older—often dating back to the Victorian, Edwardian, or Art Nouveau periods.

  • Vintage jewelry refers to pieces that are at least 20 years old, including Art Deco, Retro, and mid-century styles.

Our Los Angeles collection includes both. You’ll find authentic antique engagement rings, vintage diamond solitaires, lockets, watches, and wedding bands from a wide range of eras, as well as modern pieces we have set with with antique diamond cuts like old European cut diamonds and old mine cut diamonds.

A Thoughtfully Curated Collection, Decades in the Making

Our vintage and antique jewelry and watch collection is the result of decades of quiet, careful collecting by Todd Bracken—a GIA Graduate Gemologist, Master Jeweler, goldsmith and former Tiffany & Co. designer and manufacturer.

Over the years, he’s purchased from estate sales, private collections, and individual clients, selecting jewelry and watches that resonated with his eye for unique quality and character. The result is a collection that reflects not just historical beauty, but a personal standard of craftsmanship and integrity. Many pieces we have kept in our private collection for years, and are slowly adding to our showcases for sale.

Modern Jewelry with Antique Roots

Alongside our curated vintage jewelry collection, we also design and craft new pieces with an unmistakably antique feel. These designs are made in our Santa Monica jewelry studio using gold and platinum, and sometimes incorporate antique diamonds or historic design techniques.

Some highlights include:

  • Gypsy rings (all-occasion and Gypsy engagement rings): Inspired by Victorian-era styles, these can feature any cut and type of stone, including old mine cut or old European cut diamonds set flush in gold with our signature hand-hammered finish.

  • Greco-Roman inspired signet rings: Sculptural bands with a larger flat top that is either left plain, engraved with and emblem or initials or set with a stone and made in solid 20K California gold—earthy, bold, and crafted to last generations.

  • Patterned or hand-textured wedding bands: Reverse cast from actual vintage wedding rings and designed to look and feel time-worn, but made new in our Santa Monica studio.

These are perfect for customers who love the look and symbolism of antique jewelry but want something personally made for them.

In addition, we offer heirloom redesign and restoration—reworking antique rings and diamonds into new pieces that preserve the past while suiting a modern life and your preferred style.
