ORDERS & RETURNS

  • For in-stock Ready to Ship pieces, please allow 3-5 business days for processing + shipping time.

    For our standard Made to Order items, such as California Gold wedding bands, please allow 2-4 weeks for production + shipping time.

    For all Custom Design pieces, please allow at least 8-12 weeks for production + shipping time. This may take less or more time depending on the complexity of the design.

    We offer complimentary 2-3 day shipping on all domestic orders. Overnight shipping is available upon request for an additional fee.

    Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. We do not deliver on weekends or holidays.

  • Custom Design pieces and personalized items (including sizing and engraving) are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

    Online orders of in-stock Ready to Ship items and our Made to Order California Gold wedding bands may be exchanged for store credit less round trip shipping or an item of equal or lesser value within 5 days of receipt of goods. They may also be returned for a refund less round trip shipping and a 10% restocking fee within this window. **Excludes in-stock items that have been sized or altered for you.**

    All exchanged or returned items must be in new, unworn condition for the policy above to hold. Depending on the condition of the returned item, i.e. it is damaged or it has been clearly worn, there may be a greater restocking fee.

  • Yes, Bracken Jewelers crafts custom one-of-a-kind engagement rings in Santa Monica, California. Whether your style is ancient-inspired and earthy or modern and sleek, we are happy to bring your vision to life.

  • Absolutely—clients often repurpose heirloom diamonds and stones. We are glad to integrate them into new designs.

  • Yes, we love creating designs inspired by your ideas, inspiration boards, and sketches. We’ll add in our expertise on jewelry design and manufacture best practices to create something that is uniquely you and made to last.

  • We make engagement rings and custom jewelry of all styles. From organic, earthy designs in high karat gold to minimalist modern pieces in platinum, white gold, rose gold and silver.

  • We primarily work with natural diamonds but are happy to source lab-grown diamonds upon request to fit our clients’ vision and budget.

  • It typically 8-12 weeks to craft a custom engagement ring, but it can take less or more depending on the complexity of the design.

CALIFORNIA GOLD WEDDING BANDS & JEWELRY

  • Bracken’s California Gold is real, locally and ethically mined river gold coming from the Sierra Nevada foothills—the same region that fueled the historic California Gold Rush. The high-karat 20K alloy offers a unique, earthy greenish gold hue. Read more about our California Gold.

  • Our high-karat 20K California gold jewelry is designed for regular everyday wear. While the surface patina will change with time, taking on scratches and nicks that reflect your lifestyle, the integrity of the band should last. As with all fine jewelry, it should not be worn while lifting weights, using gardening tools, etc. as this could cause damage.

  • We’re happy to make any design from our California gold collection in another karat or metal of your choice, including platinum, rose gold, or white gold. Please note that in these cases, the gold or metal will not be California-sourced. There are exceptions, inquire for more information.

  • Yes! There are many ways to customize your California Gold wedding ring—for example, add an engraving like a date or name, request a high polish or brushed finish, and more. Contact us for more information.

  • You can see and try on the California Gold jewelry collection by appointment at our Santa Monica jewelry studio or at our retailer Olde Towne Jewelers in Santa Rosa.
