A gorgeous very early ladies Rolex wristwatch, circa 1920, with an 18K yellow gold double-hinged signed Rolex case with wire lugs measuring 26mm. Decorated with an ornate floral pattern. These early watches are considered “transitional” as they were the first versions of watches worn on wrists rather than pendant or pocket watches. Original 15-jewel signed Rolex movement in working condition. Blued steel spade hands and Arabic numerals. Fit with a vintage black suede leather strap. Previously belonged to Lauren Bacall.
